2003: Specialty Certificate in Prosthetics, Century College, White Bear Lake, MN

Experience:
Josie is one of 9 children and was raised on a farm in northern Minnesota. After graduating from college, she directed a disabled sports program in Nebraska for 5 years. After moving home to Minnesota, Josie felt a desire to return to school to study prosthetics. She completed her one-year residency in the prosthetic department of a children's specialty hospital. She has a broad background of motivational speaking, cranial remolding, peer amputation consults, and is a leader of the Collegiate Wheelchair Basketball Division. Josie works with both orthotic and prosthetic patients and has a great rapport with children and adults alike.

Hobbies:
Josie loves spending time with her husband and 2 children. She enjoys being active, taking family walks, spending time outdoors and at the lakes, traveling, and supporting Minnesota sports teams.
